"McQueen are one of the most exciting live bands in the UK" – Kerrang Emerging from the backstreets of Brighton in 2004 with their blend of punk, metal and rock, McQueen leapt onto the music scene for a monster four year tour. They've supported bands such as Velvet Revolver, Juliette Lewis and The Licks, The Almighty, The Mad Capsule Markets, Electric Eel Shock and Viking Skull along with label-stablemates W.A.S.P, Wednesday 13 and Hanoi Rocks. They've also shared the stage, billing and sometimes even a bottle of whiskey with Stone Sour, The Smashing Pumpkins and Aerosmith. "There's nothing more inspiring than to watch new talents like McQueen get up with us and rock it like nobody's business. Those are the moments that really make me smile. That inner knowing… 'fuck yeah, it ain't dead yet!" – Dave Navarro 2007 saw the release of their debut album 'Break The Silence' featuring signature tunes such as the psychotic thriller 'Neurotic', the political tirade of the mosh-driven title-track 'Break The Silence' and the balls-out rock anthem 'Bitch'. A Limited Edition Digipak of the album also included bonus track 'Life Support ICU' (a fan favourite) along with videos 'Running Out Of Things To Say' and 'The Line Went Dead'. The album received rave reviews around the globe, garnering accolades from the press, radio and TV. Tracks from the album have been used in video games and numerous extreme sports DVDs and to-date, thanks in part to the band's heavy and constant touring schedule, it's clocked up 50,000+ sales. They've got hard-ass, straight-up rock nailed to perfection" – Total Guitar In 2008 McQueen signed-up with new Manager Tom Zutaut, former head of A&R at Geffen Records and one-time Manager of Guns N' Roses. "Zoot" wasted no time getting McQueen on the bill with Velvet Revolver for their UK tour before shipping the band out for a bullet tour of Australia and New Zealand, supporting Finnish rockers HIM. Then after touching down in Los Angeles the madness continued with both vocalist Leah Duors and drummer Hayley Cramer making a number of special guest appearances with all-star cover band Camp Freddy at 'The Roxy'. "They have a lot of attitude, but if you don’t fuck with them, they’re very well behaved!" – Slash McQueen then teamed up with Guitar legend Slash a second time during their set at the Gibson Summer Jam in Nashville,TN where they performed the GN'R classic 'Nightrain' (the first time Slash had played it since leaving the band 12 years earlier). So what's next?... Having spent four years on the road McQueen are taking a well-earned break to plan their future and most importantly knuckle down and finish the next album ...and so far boys and girls, it's sounding pretty fucking hot!
